REFUNDS / RETURNS
We accept returns of unworn items* (does not include sale or personalized/customized or sized items) in their original condition and packaging within 10 days of the original purchase date. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. Before making a return please email contact@scatteredgem.com for a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Returns postmarked outside of the 10 day window will not be accepted.
Once your return is received we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund after inspection based on the condition of the return.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days (may vary depending on your bank).
Please note, shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?
Our pieces are a range of gold plated, gold filled, sterling silver .925 and vermeil. To best care for your jewelry, here’s what we recommend: Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, ocean, or pool and limit contact with perfumes, hair products, and lotions. Avoid banging your jewelry on table tops or against any other hard surfaces.

Pack your jewelry individually with care - avoid throwing it into a pile.
To care for the jewelry and refrain from tarnishing, store them in a dry area. The smallest amount of moisture in the air can lead to tarnishing. Store the jewelry in a jewelry box or pouch. You can also place an anti-tarnish strip in the jewelry box or pouch for further protection. If the jewelry comes in contact with water, perfume, hair products, sweat, or any other form of moisture, be sure to wipe and dry the piece. Sterling Silver .925 jewelry can be cleaned with a sterling silver .925 cloth.

Stretch styles, should be placed on and off the body with care. Do not stretch the elastic out very wide. Delicately, insert your hand/foot as narrowly as possible through the bracelet or anklet. Make sure not to place your jewelry over your clothing.

We accept all major credit cards (we do not accept American Express).
IS SALES TAX APPLIED TO MY ORDER?
Yes, for orders shipping within the US and its territories, shipping and taxes are calculated at checkout based on shipping address and as required by applicable laws.
DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?
Yes, we do offer gift cards! You can purchase our gift cards in our on-line.
SHIPPING TIMES
Many of our pieces are made by hand, to order – with love. Please allow 1- 10 business days for your order to ship. Please take care when entering your shipping address. We are not responsible for orders not received due to an incorrect or an incomplete shipping address.

Orders marked undeliverable due to an incorrect shipping address will be reissued if and when they are received back and will incur a re-shipping fee.
